A Figure 8 in orbiting is done in the same motion as gloving. To execute this concept, grab one string with each hand and swing the orbit up or down, using momentum from the spin to make an 8 using your hands, while keeping your arms still. The orbit should swing above your arms then transition below your arms. Alternatively, this can be done side to side, as you swing the orbit from left to right similarly to the original form.
