I have been using photons since 2008. These photons have the truest of colors available in nanometers. The three modes in the freedoms are very nice, Blue and aqua are the brightest lights besides the white. I own white, orange, and blue photon IIs; also I own aqua, red, purple, aqua, and yellow photon Freedoms. They are a bit more expensive for single color lights but worth it.

If you want to modify these, use a bulb that is ribbon. The strobe bulbs chip will counteract the strobemode of the photon's microchip and you will end up with a strobe of only the first color.

These may be too bright for gloving however. I prefer to use these to modify my flowlights. By attaching these to the top and bottom of the silicon case, you can create even better effects.

The best part with these is if they break, you can send them in to the manufactures and for the mere price of shipping you get a working one within a week or two!
